The sun was shining directly on the float from my vantage point and it illuminated the cheerleaders with a crisp early morning Southern California sun. The cheerleaders who were talented and lucky enough to be at Penn State the year the Lions went to the Rose Bowl got their own float made with blue, white and brown flowers (for the football). How many students can say they marched in the Tournament of Roses Parade?
