Penn State vs Michigan, Oct 18, 2008

It had been 9 years since Penn State has beaten Michigan and twelve total years since the last victory in 1996. The Nittany Lions did not play Michigan for three of the twelve years. The fans were ready this year, especially, because Michigan was in a state of change with new head coach Rich Rodriguez.

The game started out as if Lion fans would have to wait until at least the next year for a victory, but the second half was all Penn State.

This image was taken during the third quarter as Darryl Clark sneaks in the endzone for a one yard touchdown. All arms are up and the student section is waving white towels. If you look to your left, you will see a magnificent sunset.

At the end of each game, the jumbotron usually puts up the message "Drive Carefully." This was especially meaningful because of Penn State's huge win.

This print captures the excitement of one of Penn State's most meaningful wins in Beaver Stadium.
