I had planned this image, but of course I had no idea that this would be one of Penn State’s biggest wins ever at Beaver Stadium. The captains and the scoreboard are in color and everything else is black and white. The curtain is open; the lights are on; the play is about to begin. Below image - "Whiteout" - was also created on October 8, 2005. It is a 180-degree spectacular panoramic of the first real "Whiteout." This is one of the biggest games PENN STATE has ever played in BEAVER STADIUM. Penn State went on to beat the Buckeyes 17-10 and ultimately get an ORANGE BOWL bid and place third nationally for the 2005 season. This is mage was chosen among literally thousands for part of a new mural in the Penn State Football Office. All 20,000 students with their white shirts can be seen in the East Stands.
